Born and raised in Calgary, baritone saxophonist, Sarah studied with Canadian jazz masters Jim Brenan and Ralph Bowen, completing her education at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Sarah also holds a Master of Arts in music psychology from the U of Sheffield. She has performed and recorded with a variety of ensembles in Alberta. When not performing, she teaches Film Studies at Mt Royal in Calgary. She has been with the CJO for 8 years.
